Bar scans are time-consuming and labor-intensive. The model has to be scanned from many angles to capture the precise angle of the individual implants or any other features that may require custom design. Any wax units that are provided must also be scanned to ensure a properly fitted design.
Bar design is a complex process and requires an excellent grasp of the doctor's or technician's intentions in achieving the proper results. Not every digital dental technician has the ability and experience to design a bar that assures a proper fit.
All two-day shipping from AMS Dental Technologies is free for Emax, Zirconia, and Titanium milling products. 3D printed models and PMMA incur shipping charges unless shipping with Emax, Zirconia milling, or Titanium orders.
