Understanding Exocad Implants and Premilled Custom Abutment Options
Wednesday, April 23rd @ 3pm CDT/4pm EDT/1pm PDT
This is a medium to advanced seminar covering the development of an implant/custom abutment case from start to finish in Exocad.
We will create the necessary database in Exocad, import the necessary digital scans to create the official case, as well as discussing the determination of implant or custom abutment provided by the doctors RX.
Designing Implant and custome Abutments are done in a systematic and functional way to help the end user be able to produce a consistent and quality design. Taking into consideration as a must the tissue management of the case.
The following design concepts will be covered:
- Implants: size and proper set up for case
- Screw Retained Crowns and MUA Abutments
- Implant Bridge
- Toronto Bridge
- Montreal Bridge
- Hader Bar

Ron Rosenthal, CDT

Ron has 30 years of diverse experience in the dental industry as a lab owner/operator and Technical Instructor specializing in Ceramics and Implantology. He has also served as a course facilitator, dental trainer, Technical Specialist, Clinical Faculty Instructor, and Business Development Manager in CAD-CAM technology. Ron A. Rosenthal offers a commitment to the craft of Dentistry and has sought to remain at the forefront of our continually evolving industry. In addition to his technical background, Ron sees customer service of the broadest spectrum as a constant need in a technology-driven and ever-changing industry. His specialized skill set includes advanced training in multiple dental materials including, ceramics, all-ceramic reconstructions, implants, and CAD CAM from a variety of platforms, large scope scanning and measurements, CAM process and software for machining and SLM Laser sintering, MillBox/SUM3D. Ron is also Dawson/Panky trained in occlusion which allows him to provide a unique level of knowledge and understanding in dental mechanics.
